Wild Rivers Water Park
Irvine, California
18 Acres
In Summer 2022, the long awaited return of a Southern California icon, Wild Rivers Water Park, reimagined and re-opened in it’s new location after 11 years. A 20-acre water park located within the Orange County Great Park. The resort-style South Pacific theme features tropical landscape accents that are appropriate for this Southern California climate. The reinvented water park incorporates the latest technology while paying homage to the former Marine Corp Air Station El Toro on which the park is located. The attractions include a lazy river, multi-slide complexes, mat racers, kiddie areas with climbing structures, tube and drop slides, raft rides and a wave pool. The new park offers a creative mix of thrilling rides and old ‘lazy river’ favorites. In addition to rides, the park also features a cafeteria, restroom/changing buildings, administration building, picnic shade structures, a day camp and mechanical buildings.
